Websites, Resources and Classroom Activities

Page history last edited by Pamela Hilleshiem Setz, Ph.D. 6 years, 8 months ago

There are many, many career-focused websites, resources, and materials from which to draw information, strategies, and classroom activities.  Indeed, the number of resources available is too extensive to post as a list, but a few ideas/resources are listed below. Please let us know of other exceptional sights that you find!

The "Webliography" tool below is a spreadsheet that was created by the authors of this wiki. It links to a variety of sights and indicates if the tool provides the following: classroom activities, career exploration, job search/employment, labor market information, non-traditional careers, organizations, and post secondary/military information.

Each of the files below has live links to websites, information and organizations that may be valuable to you as you explore career clusters and pathways!

Classroom Activities: Feel free to try any and all with your students.

Many of the businesses, organizations, and web pages referenced throughout this WIKI also include links to resources.  Be sure to explore those, as well, you may discover a site that is rich in information.

If you find or know of a great site, and are willing to share information, please use the Add Comments option at the bottom of this page.  Remember to include the full web address, the name of the organization (in case the link doesn't work), and a brief description of its usefulness.
